Release notifications are emailed to customers in advance of new releases. Emails are distributed to users who have opted-in as follows:
Hosted and On Premise (Looker Managed) Instances:
- All users who opt-in to release emails. Opt-in is offered when you create your account. Users can update their subscription from their Account Settings (~/account) page.
- All emails listed in the admin panel as "Technical Contacts" (see documentation) or Salesforce Technical contacts if none are listed in admin panel.
On Premise (Customer Managed) Instances:
- All emails listed in the admin panel as "Technical Contacts" (see documentation) and Salesforce Technical contacts.
