JOIN 2018: Looker User Conference

(Margaret Rosas) #1

Greetings Good Lookers!

It’s that time of year to make your plans to attend JOIN, our annual user conference. Early Bird tickets are available for a limited time (but going fast). Whether you’ve been a customer from the early days or currently considering adopting Looker for your company, we’re planning JOIN around you.

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet the Looker Community in person on October 9-11 in San Francisco at The Palace of Fine Arts: Exhibition Center.

Here are the tracks for this year: :eye: :notebook:

  • Building Analytic Experiences For All
  • Data for Good
  • Scalable Data Modeling and Development
  • Analytics in Action
  • Analytics, Deployment, and Adoption
  • Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning

:heavy_plus_sign:

  • Lloyd Tabb, Looker founder, and Frank Bien, Looker CEO, will take the stage to unveil cool, new product features and discuss what Looker has in the works.

JOIN us. We’d love to see you there to collaborate, learn and discover.

JOIN is really going to be good this year… and we’re proud to announce as part of it:

the JOIN 2018 Hackathon

Come spend time with developers building products, models and dashboards as we build our best ideas on the Looker platform for a chance to win “Best Hack” and “Fan Favorite” awards. It’s a great opportunity for developers to have some fun, network and learn from each other. We’ll have technical representatives from Looker and our technology partners to assist with tech questions.

2:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, October 9th
San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts
3301 Lyon St, San Francisco, CA 94123

More details…

  • We encourage you to start building beforehand, to make the most of the time available together!

  • Looker engineers and some technology partners will be present to assist with technical questions

  • Please bring your own laptop, and feel free to use your own data + Looker instance
