What’s the role?
We’re looking to add a detail-oriented and collaborative Data Visualization Developer to our growing team of driven professionals. As a Data Visualization Developer, you will play a key role in H&R Block’s ability to make smarter, data-backed business decisions. You should have a strong sense for taking complex business needs and leveraging data to deliver approachable, user-friendly visualizations that can be understood by audiences with varying levels of data literacy. Some of what you’ll be doing:

• Collaborate with leaders and managers to determine and address data and reporting needs for various company projects.
• Create reports to share your findings and recommendations with the internal team and other stakeholders.
• Perform testing and validation of data sets.
• Determine the meaning of data and explain how various teams and leaders can leverage it to improve and streamline their processes.
• Document structures and types of business data.
• Ensure a high-quality user experience with new reports by working iteratively and proactively seeking feedback.
