Bombora’s offering identifies which businesses are currently researching what topics and the intensity of those efforts. It scores these signals to then help sales and marketing teams prioritize target accounts, customize their conversations with them, and optimize marketing efforts.

We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst who has a passion for using data to help the company make informed decisions. As a business intelligence analyst, you will collaborate with various departments and help them make data-driven decisions.

In addition, the candidate needs to be able to develop BI solutions for both internal and external clients using industry-standard BI tools, like Tableau, Looker, Data Studio or similar.

What you’ll do:

• Perform analysis on data distributions, draw insights, and make recommendations
• Collaborate with various departments and help each team make data-driven decisions
• Design, implement and deliver business intelligence tools to internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor data quality and build tools to identify anomalies
• Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations
• Explore data from potential vendors and draw conclusions on its quality and value

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum 2 years or more of relevant work experience
• Education: B.S. in Information Systems, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another related and preferably quantitative field
• Analytical reasoning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams
• Data quality & visualization
• Experience working with large structured and unstructured databases

Knowledge:

• Tableau / Data Studio / Looker
• Data wrangler: Passionate about data and the ability to leverage data to understand systems.
• SQL: Nested Queries, CTEs, Multi-dimensional tables,
• Advanced Excel

Bonus points for experience in:

• Basic fluency in Python or R (pandas, numpy, matplotlib and other packages)
• Data governance & stewardship
